Contests and Awards
NY STATE FAIR 2023
GUILD AWARDS: Each year Twisted Stitches of CNY awards two prizes, one in the Knitted Division (all knitted items) and one in the Senior Knitters category. Winners are chosen blindly by the judge of the fair for that year. This year's prizes are for $25 and an annual membership to the Guild. Winners for 2023 are Alicia Henn (our own Guild member!) and Audrey Cobb.
Stones and Bones sweater by Alicia Henn which won a first prize in the "Cardigan" category, as well as Best of Division for all knitted items. Alicia's sweater was self designed for her TKGA Master Hand Knitter's certification. Congratulations Alicia!
Striped sweater entered in the Senior category and knitted by Audrey Cobb of Syracuse. Congratulations Audrey!
